Genius. This worked amazing. I've done quite a few fiberglass enclosures, and always dreaded the sanding. This tip worked like a charm! Thanks!!!
Updates. The j dub is at the dealer, having the cruise programmed. Everything working fine!! Here's the breakdown. I bought a used cruise column. Stole the clock spring and cruise buttons. $125. Purchased the harness from the dealer $100 I installed the clock spring and buttons. The dealer quoted me $300 to program. But only $500 total to install the harness and program. So I just let them do the harness too. They spent about 12 hours on the job, but are charging me for 5. Which works out to $800. ( when I pick it up, I might argue a bit about about the quote vs actual charge. There's a law here where dealers can only be 10% over quote, but hey, I have been there, and I know how it is) I'm fine with that. I would have sold the car, if I couldn't have fitted cruise.
Took the ram and a flatbed into the city to pick up the j dub. Just easier than two drivers. Anywho asked about the $500 quote... Reminding them about the 10% over law. I was very polite ( unlike me) and after a few mins, he pumped out another invoice. $549. I'll take that!! Wiring looks good, no clutch switch ( fine ) everything looks great! Super excited!!
One door done. Ugh. I can't ever leave anything alone. Except the wife's lexus. I don't give a crap about that thing..... Lol
