Dear fellow MINI enthusiasts. We have an upcoming event in the Bay Area and would like to invite your club to attend.

The ABF Road Tour will be at the Candlestick Park on Sept 12 & 13, 2009. The Road Show contains two main components: The Ride and Drive program for perspective MINI owners, and the owner appreciation meet & greet for current MINI owners.

The “Ride and Drive Program” is aimed at providing future MINI owners the chance to experience the complete buying experience. Perspective buyers get the online experience when they build their cars on the MINI website, which is followed by the dealership experience. The Ride and Drive program is there to provide buyers the actual driving experience. Participants first get to ride in a Spec-R56 with the instructor driving; then he/she gets behind the wheel and go for a couple of laps around the auto-cross course. Once done, they get to fill out a survey and access their overall MINI experience. This program is approved and sponsored by MINIUSA and it’s channeled thru local MINI Dealerships around the country... Interested parties need to contact their local dealerships and obtain the promo codes for early registration.

In conjunction with the Ride and Drive Program, there’s also the Meet and Greet event for current MINI Owners. There will be dedicated space for the various local clubs for them to gather and mingle, as well as car show competitions in various categories with cash prizes and trophies. Clubs and car show participants can check back this Friday for the Registration Link.

Participating vendors and sponsors will have booths set up to promote & support their products.

Details on the car show and club competitions will be published once everything is finalized. We just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what’s coming down the pipeline.
