Broken connectors & a bent pan. I'm wondering if you need to call your insurance agent. Bet those were damaged in the accident. I'd sure try all of the cheap fixes before buying a new transmission.

Dealer always wants to sell you a brand new something, whatever happened to fixing things these days? Definitely call your insurance because that's part of the accident. It's always best to take care of it fast before the liability shifts to you.
My Mini is getting the left rear quarter panel repainted after almost three months of having the entire car repainted because they failed to remove the color coated ring that goes around the chrome cap to the gas tank. Gas, rainwater got under the paint line causing it to peal. I feel better that I have a lifetime warranty on my paint job. -

You guys are forgetting about this part of the issue.
The car became a write off and has since been rebuilt
I don't think insurance will cover any of it. -
