Guess they figured they lose money today with the coupon code :mad5:

It has to due with the fact that MINIs are pictured.
I know MINI USA is very protective of their brand but this is going to far. -

They are worried about putting pictures of MINI's on their calendar???? Wouldn't that thinking extend to just about anything manufactured? So they do mostly things like trees and flowers and birds???? I like turtles..... are turtles OK???? Crazy
-
MINI USA is very aggressive in protecting the MINI brand as they should be. Sometimes this goes a bit to far and companies such as Zazzle just make a wholesale decision to deny any content that is MINI related. I have appealed in this case citing the the site is independent, providing them with copies of the LLC docs, proof of domain ownership and a link to the site policy as it pertains to text and images. I also explained where all the images came from and provided links to all the images used in the calendar as they are found on the site.
Funny how MINI in Europe is not so anal, hence in the US we have sites that do not have MINI in the name such as this one and the ex MINI Cooper Online (now NAM) and in Europe there is MINI2, MINItorque and totalMINI.
Our lawyers need the work more I guess. -

Maybe their lawyers drive MINI's and our lawyers drive....... Oh, nevermind
-
Nathan,
I know you are trying to get this fixed but I suggest you get it fixed by Thursday so the coupon code is still good.
I was ready to buy at $16.95 + shipping but I would not buy at $22.95.
I am working on making a group buy for my club members.

Now THAT, is some kinda good looking turtle. Very nice. -
The December image is the M/A logo; how can we be sure that Zazzle will correctly print the "special image" and not just that logo?
It also mentions three sizes but I don't see where to select ...
Mind, I stil get request error so maybe the whole discussion is irrelevant. -
I've still yet to hear back from Zazzle.
Color me very disappointed in the manner in which this all going down. -

Controversy Over Black Mustang Club Calendar - Ford Mustang News
Most of this issue comes from the cheesy product companies like zazzle and cafepress....not actually MINIUSA or Ford. -
I had seen the Mustang Club issue before and that was in the back of my mind when Zazzle kicked this calendar to the curb. I figure it is Zazzle being overly paranoid and not a direct missive from MINI but more of a blanket "Oh No, it has MINIs, better get rid of it" on Zazzle's part.
While they were quick to kill it off they are slow in responding to the appeal. -
I just ordered calendars from Apple, no problems, but I guess those aren't publicly for sale
-
With Apple I'd have to order a quantity and stock them myself.
I think I'm going to have to seek out alternative publishers. -

Ugh, Zazzle is crap... I'm surprised they shot you down right away, it's good that they did it now before you got the calendar in motion because on two separate occasions I have gone to buy products listed on their website, ready for sale, have completed the sale, then got an email the next day telling me they can't sell it because it is copyright infringement.
Last time I wrote back asking why the hell it's on their site in the first place if they can't sell it. -
If Zazzle does not work, try CafePress. I have had pretty good luck getting issues resolved over there with MINI items. No endorsement of either site, just personal experience for personal items.
