We’ve heard rumors of the back pressure popping sound so loved in the late model R53s coming back with the 2011 LCI. Now we can confirm it. For the 2011 Cooper S will indeed have the mythical back pressure popping sound when the sport button is pressed. It may not sound like much, but as any 2005 or 2006 MSC owner can tell you, it’s a huge value add.
