I've crawled that site for a bit and have to say it's not the most user-friendly in terms of general info about this rally. Hard to even locate the info on where, when and how, other than how to register.
From what little I learned it looks like it might be a lot of fun though. Something I might do but not likely this year.

It's a multi-day charity road rally, all asphalt, on public roads.
Envision Cannonball Run but without all the excessive speeding and outstanding characters...
Monies raised by entry fee, sponsors and raffles thoruhgout the event go to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund - Home). -
