The photo is the photographer's property. He can sell you a copy for your own personal use or sell you all rights to a photo. The costs can be very different for each. My thought is if Killboy was asked he would most likely say yes. Asking is important. That being said I thought a photo/calendar contest was for people to share their own work. Killboy does wonderful work, but it his work.... Thanks for listening to my ramble. :cornut:
That was my intent, that people share their own work. I could have easily gone to the Killboy site, picked 12 great MINI shots, and called it a day. This way the calendar is a reflection upon the M/A Community and is truly your calendar. Once the photos are are selected the people that submitted them will be contacted so I can put the proper photo credits on the calendar. There are enough great shots by members that those from a 3rd party are not needed. So lets see YOUR shots please. I should have made the clear fromt he get go, my apologies.
That makes it easier... only the picture at White Sands was taken by me! Gene Moore took the Waco Run picture coming up the hill.
As long as Gene is OK with the picture being used, if it is selected by the Calendar Committee, then there is no problem in using it. Might want to ask Gene his thoughts on that please. He will get full credit if it is used.
Please submit your entries to 2012 Calendar entries Entries must be at least 800x600 and 300 dpi. Even larger is fine and in fact better.
Added a few entries. Not sure they're quite as good quality as some of the other amazing entries, but I thought I'd go for it anyway.

Nathan... Photos for your consideration. These pictures, taken with Tanker 78 at the Fresno Air Attack Base, depict the direct correlation between the excitement of flying under typically adverse conditions and driving the MINI as a form of release after the incident. This air tanker is one of 23 fixed wing firefighting aircraft operated by CAL FIRE throughout California. Thanks for the opportunity.

To upload photos please go to 2012 Calendar Entries - Motoring Alliance Gallery The in the upper right you will see text that says "Upload Photos" Click on that and you can upload them directly from your pc/mac.
