I like it. Clean and simple, but with real photos from real owners, as opposed to nameless, professional images. The price is more than fair and I hope to see one next year.

Nathan, there may be a good reason not to, but credit to the photographer appropriately located would be nice I think. The current version is a great calendar with some really great shots. I once had a MGB photo published by Moss Motors....home town and name were credited. You did a great job, mine hangs over my excuse for a work bench in my garage.

I think it's great the way it is.
I hope to see little change.
It will be good to have the whole year to conceive of and create a few worthy photo submissions. -

I would like to know your "guidelines for selection" of photos? I was really impressed with cover photo from the teaser and a few others... Ordered 4 calendars, got them just to be disappointed as some photos are sooooooo "nothing special" and not "calendar vorthy"...
Some pages look like calendar from the time of original Mini from 60s...
My favorites: cover (August), February, October, November,... Everything else nice for "family album" but not "calendar stuff", sorry...
Layout: love the cover page design (that got me fooled:mad2: ) and general layout of the months (handy)... -
I think, for the first year, this was great. The price is right and no... not all the of the entries are from professional photographers. That would be a whole different type of calendar. We will have a whole year now to work on getting great, high resolution photos for next year using this as the foundation we build on. Congrats to Nathan for doing this entirely without advertising!!

I would like to see a note for each pic saying where/when/who and, ideally, year/model of car. If space constraints prevent a caption on each pic, then maybe at the first page or rear cover? I could live w/o the montage at the first page...

Like most people said give credit to the photo takers. Gave one to a member with the most mileage the other night at our bi-monthly tavern get together.

This is great...getting some ideas for 2013 already.
Just so you know on the back cover is a listing of the month and who the photographer is. -

I agree with you 100% PaulHana. A very nice all volunteer effort by all involved.

I noticed a couple things for the month of February.
Mardi Gras is not on the 15th and Ash Wednesday does not occur on Thursday the 16th :nonod:
Not sure who proof read the calendar but I thought I would point these out.
PS The calendar is great and I look forward to turning the page every month. -
We did get National Donut Day right! -

...and you got the extra day for Leap Year at the end of Feb!
That would have been a huge miss as every date from 1 Mar on would have been off by one. I remember getting pissed off about Leap Year once when I was young and new to the work force because it meant I had to wait an extra day to get paid at the end Feb.

The addition of the honorable mention pics was a nice touch...and got me into the calendar...that should be kept for next year...Would like to see some unique pics for next years calendar. Possibly some more artsy shots and less hero type...but for thefact thats its a member driven and totally not for profit piece...I am very happy with it. Looking forward to being a part of next years.

I noticed this morning there are a few things off in March as well =( . But I think over all it is pretty good =)

I think that St. Patrick's day is March 17th
I love the calendar, it's great in many ways, especially for the price! It hangs above my computer reminding me of all my autoX and race dates this year!!!!! -

On the Feb picture one of my coworkers noted "It's a MINI and they couldn't even park within the lines?" :cryin:
