Lotus?

 

I wouldn't touch a Lotus at the moment, their are too many concerns about the company's longterm viability.


Plus they're a ***** to work on, if you're into the DYI thing. Unless you go for an Exige, it's almost a lateral move from a modified MINI anyway.

 

Here's to hoping that Mazda will send off the current gen Miata with the Yusho concept courtesy of flyin' Miata that they showed off in Europe...That, if it sees the light of day, and is reasonably priced, would be tough to pass up.

 

I owned a 2006 Miata for 5 years, when the Roadster came out I rushed to the dealer to try one out and I have to say I Liked the Miata better to play around with. However I finally realized the Miata was a very bad car to take trips in , I found anything over 50 miles was miserable. I suspect the Roadster would be a much better car to take trips in. I replaced the Miata with a 128i Coupe and have to say I prefer it to either one of those.

 

Alas in my quest for a new toy, I keep coming to the same conclusion.....
