I was thinking of picking up a calendar or two, but now I really want one for that picture! Good memories! It was always fun to ride (or walk when it's closed to vehicular traffic) down Snake Alley. BTW, I googled 'Big Muddys Burlington' and it seems to still be there. One interesting fact about the restaurant is that they added a line on the wall all around the restaurant after the flood of '93 to show where the water level got to inside the restaurant.
Got my two! One for me and one as a gift for my awesome son- he'll be a Mini owner soon! Thanks for making this happen, Nathan!
Oh man racing MINI's what a great way to start the year! From the teasers I have to say great job to the photographer's & calendar elf's for putting suck a wonder first M/A calendar together. :beer Love it!
I'm shocked to see that my photo (and MINI) made it on the front cover! This calendar looks like it will be phenomenal; can't wait to get mine! -G.B.
Sorry Carol, you know my heart is in the right place. I have an x ray to prove it. My sentiment was honest & sincere.... SUCH A WONDERFUL first M/A calendar that does NOT suck.
Haha! No problem. I thought it was very funny! You have suckawonder heart! I can report first hand that it is a wonderful calendar! :biggrin5: :biggrin5: :biggrin5:
I just saw the preliminary first print of the M/A calendar...... Shaweet..... I was totally impressed with the picture quality of so many of the member's submissions. Way to go people.... Can't wait to get mine....
When & where is the award ceremony for all the photographer's & graphic artist's being held? Hope it is local I don't want to travel to NYC.
there should be a section for newly formulated words... "suck-a-wonder" made me litterally laugh out loud
I placed my order for a calendar two weeks ago and my excitement level is out of control in anticipation...looks excellent and I will be replacing umpteen years of quality dwindling F1 calendar wall space with my first MA calendar in 2012.
Mid-Ohio motoring will soon be publishing a suck-a-wonder book. It's called "Learn to Talk Carp Like a Sliverback."
As a public service I figured I'd pop over, review, and vote on the candidate photos submitted by the masses for 2012 Sewing Calendar consideration. IMHO and being as objective as possible, the verdict is about 7 months worth of solidly worthy photos, but falling off rapidly after that. The 2012 M/A Calendar is a better deal size- and price-wise, and based on this insight and the teasers here thus far it seems like an even better investment.
