At the beginning of this month BMW launched a rap video that shows, for a few seconds, a clay model of a new Mini Cooper. This scale vehicle could be a teaser for the next generation 2013 Mini Cooper, or it could be a completely new model. Unfortunately, BMW did not release any other details to go with this rap video. The clip's description says that BMW Group's trainees are currently working on a new project. The clay model shows in fact two cars. Half of it it's a current generation Mini Cooper, while the other half shows a new and more aggressive looking vehicle. The video below is in German [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM36TAo6i5o]YouTube - BMW Praktikum Rap‏[/ame] Source - 2013 Mini Cooper Teaser Video
Interesting clay model but I'm not biting as a viable 2013 design. Those headlights would never fly as a wind cheating high gas milage design. Too big a departure from the MINI look. IMHO...... Only useful in a German rap video as a faux teaser.
The most interesting part of that video for me, was that I now know I don't like rap any better in German either. :nonod: Jim
Thanks for posting the picture of the claymation MINI Nathan. You spared me from German rappers. :frown2: I like the side by the person in the yellow lab coat. The other side is just strange. As far as the headlights go they'll put plastic covers over them to cheat the wind. That red car above looks pissed off. :mad5:
Good job. Where do you find all this stuff? The roof line on this one looks like the one on the Photoshop picture. Jim
