And too tired to look as well.
That thread you speak of and you post have not been touched. Please click on this link and you will find it all just like you thought it was.
We don't play those games here. The content in this thread is from a MINI Press Release.

Much better, when the current Countryman gets about 24K on the odometer, this one might be it's replacement. Might go with OXYGreen again with some wild accents.

Well as they say, I can mod it or buy it.This is the wifes DD, so she is not to keen on MODS, but would drive a JCW version of her CM.
Of course, the kids with my newest grandson are looking for a potential new car to cart the wee one around in next fall, so I sent them the link.
I wonder if they will bite. :fingerscrossed:

:cornut: Wow! Several hours ago this post was only several of the opening sentences of the MF article and I Had Post # 2. Now it's the entire article and my post has been callously excised. I guess monitors around here..............Oh never mind, I'm too tired to fight.

:cornut: Thanks Nathan. No games, honest. "Jason, get a cup of strong coffee, then engage brain before letting typing fingers loose. Got It? Now drive on."

Sweet! I would love one for blasting through the mountains of western colorado. With my sometimes crappy drive in the winter time, i think the all4 would be great!

Not sure if I like it or not. It makes sense given the MINI line-up. I'm hesitant to really get excited because I sense a bit of VW R32 here though. Cool car but by the time it's all done it's as much money as much better performing cars.
Having driven the 2WD S model Countryman I can say that I'm sure it will still feel like a MINI. So, assuming this is the THE car for you it will be worth the $$$.
So there is my automotive brain droppings on the subject. -
I am glad they are finally doing this, however the specs are a bit lack luster. If they could have been pushing say 300 hp, i think we could have a STI or Evo competitor. The way these are specced it will be a little watered down. Hopefully the car will be light enough!
