That was a hoot. A bit of a long day but all in all it was down well. B.A.D. - Awesome job leading the hodgepodge of cars across hill and dale. Crashton - Grandma's Knob Road, forget it exists! Otherwise that was a great route. A nice mix of tight twisties, open sweepers and lovely scenery.
What he said! I hope everyone avoided getting noticed by OSP on the way home. They were out in large numbers on 70.
Had a great time leading Nick and other Nathan. We even got out of our cars to help a fellow in an Austin Healey out.
Well yea! Haha. He was having fuel issues, either carb., fuel pump, or something else but he couldn't make it up the hill so we gave him a push back down.
he got the car going. He had a stuck bowl in his carb. Thanks Chuck and Bill, I loved the route. I have no problem driving this route next year. You couldn't beat the weather, just perfect. Thanks again
A great route. Thanks Chuck and Bill. The Healy guy was doing a great pace considering he had drum brakes, wire wheels, and skinny tires. Seth's dad did a great job navigating.
Chuck, hopefully we weren't riding Bill to o hard as we were coming into Coshocton. I was trying to give him plenty of room before he pulled over.
Bill does not have a problem with pulling over when he feels it is the right thing to do. No problem at all Brian. You see Healey's are the opposite of slostice's.
Next year I think we should get our local group together then divid it into two sub groups and hang together loosely.
That always sounds good on paper, but in reality we end up with a wagon train of cars to manage through the different towns, stop signs, or passing slower traffic.
Thanks to all you folks for coming along & helping Riverrun be a successful event once again. Special thanks to Carol for her wonderful design used on the magnets. Thanks to my good friend Bill for helping me with all the hard work. Couldn't do this without him. See all you folks next year. :biggrin5: Here's a link to pictures..... 05-25-2013 Eric's Riverrun - crashton's Photos
Great photos as always Chuck! I he my back is healed by next year so that I can make the next one. Jason's Sprite is awesome!
Great route and group to drive with, thanks to: Chuck for the route Brian for leading the group Mother Nature for the weather Next year I put my vote in the get to 536 box For those wondering the exige is really small inside, there is zero body roll, and lotus does a great job tuning that Toyota engine. It's not often that riding is more fun than driving, but any seat time in something that cool is always memorable. I hope to get the owners to come to breakfast they have an r56 daily driver.
That Exige is one sweet ride! It was nice seeing one in black. They are welcome to bring it to breakfast also. Great pictures as always Chuck!
The Exige looked all sinister like in the mirror. I know it turned a lot of heads as we went though towns. Nice pics Chuck. Thanks for sharing them.
