You are the man Dave, but you are always moving backwards. At this rate you will be back in Pampers before long. :D

I'm cautiously optimistic. Still not enough info here yet, and will wait for some seat time before finalizing an opinion.

About the 5 lug wheel pattern, you can pretty much guarantee that it is the standard BMW 5x120. Depending on the offset, there could be lots of existing wheel options on day 1.

Regarding these spy shots, that looks to be a Cooper, which has a more traditional front bumper. The Cooper S has the awkward protruding lower intake.

I could see people with an S swapping the to the Cooper's bumper.

But that'll only work if that intake is non-functional....

I honestly don't get the front of the MCS. The MINI has always been retro, and that lower grill protrusion has flavor of the month written all over it. Funny thing is that in 10 years, I suspect the F56 MCS will look dated, kind of like the old STi; the R53 and even the R56, will look classic, like an old 911.

Wondering if the MCS protruding front is to make room for the intercooler. When we get to see one in person it will probably look OK. :fingerscrossed:
