I'm getting used to the lack of sound or rather the different sound. I do love all of the chasing the cars tail through the turns. Those driver's are working much harder this year.

I think if I ever went to a track to watch a race in person I'd be more interested in the change. But sound levels for me depend on how they mike the track and produce the sound for broadcast. Just like when I was trying to find an exhaust I like on my MINI, there's both quantity and quality to consider. I already like the sound quality and the broadcasters are coming to grips with quantity so it ends up sounding pretty good in my living room.

I used to own a 1984 Renault Alliance.
So I am totally not surprised that they're having electrical issues.
Totally not surprised at all.-

Fuels still need to be tested and approved by the FIA.....so if it passes tech they can use it. But you can bet that the FIA will be looking at adding fuel flow to those tests

*Yawn*
It's sad that the top two places on the podium are such a foregone conclusion (and likely will be for the remainder of '14) that the network is forced to play up interpersonal rivalries to try and keep things interesting for the casual observer. I did find the info on the venue and the series of events affecting positions 3 - 22 to be somewhat interesting and entertaining...but that's about it. The gratuitous poolside sunbathing bumpers did a nice job of keeping me tuned in. :wink:-

Hamilton = Weiner.
Bright side is that this situation is bringing out the best in Nico, and it will be fun to watch Lewis's head explode when Nico wins the championship.....unless MB intervenes on his behalf that is.....-

Let's see, a race driver can turn up the wick a bit because he used less fuel. Me I see nothing wrong with that, but admittedly I am not an F1 team owner. I'm wondering if Nico should learn to drive in a manner that leaves him a little bit of room to turn the go button up a bit.
Nico's off in Q3, sure was convenient. :wink:
This is an interesting season & will continue to be. The pot is boiling between the two Benz Boys.opcorn:

I couldn't care less if Nico "cheated" or not. It made for a better race than I was expecting, and the intra-team drama is fun to watch.

Why does the world assume the Rosberg lost it on purpose? None of the data shows he drove it differently than others. He doesn't have a history of doing questionable things.
The assumption is that Hammy would have beat him on that lap. But maybe not. If Hammy would have had the same incident effecting Rosberg would everyone assumed he did it on purpose? I don't think so.
I just get tired the preferential treatment and coverage of Hamilton.-

Did anyone else watch the F1 documentary that was on Saturday night before the Monaco GP? I just watched it and it was GREAT. Lots of old footage, input from drivers from different eras, and some great older in car video.
I recommend watching it!-
