Good to know how many people were "flying" instead of racing!

Sheesh, is there any way to get "Lee Daffey" to shut up?

I was flipping thru channels the other day and he was calling a tennis match, then another time I heard him calling another racing event (Indycars in Texas I think), and to my surprise there was another familiar voice with him - Steve Matchett! - calling an Indy car race????? I mean, sure there's a certain amount of technical similarity, but.....

They went on and on about how much faster Hammy was, but he was losing time to Rosbug till his tranny started going south.

However, being 40+ seconds clear of the field at the end does say something about this year's championship hopes for the rest of the cars.......

Anyone else think Kimi might be looking for other employment next season, or even next week?

Mattiacci said this week that heads were gonna roll....I know he was talking about the engineering staff, but.......

I was glad to see Hamilton win, that being said had Nico not had his problems it would have been tough for Hamilton to catch let alone pass Nico. Luck swings both ways, this time it was in Hamilton's favor. Stay tuned, so far it has been a great season.

As far as the broadcast team goes I think they did a good job. No problems with any of them.

It was good to see Hamilton win in front of the home crowd. Of all the close races this season, I would have loved to seen this one go one more lap so Jenson could have caught Ricciardo and got on the podium.

Next race I will be rooting for an all German podium....

That's always been my complaint about Diffey but he's toned it down a bit over the years. Thanks to that and the fact I've just gotten used to him, I have few complaints with the commentary.

I like that Rosberg has a DNF now, evens things out a bit on the good/bad luck side of the equation.

As for Kimi...maybe Crash is right and he's just practicing for RallyCross. :D

I'm sure Kimi would be glad for Ferrari to buy him out a year early again. In my mind that would be a good move for Ferrari & Kimi.

Kimi is an amazing talent. Smashes into a guardrail spins like a top & gets spun around again after a near miss by Massa. Yet he is aware enough to ask if Massa is OK. Yep he his a special talent. Man I wish he was in a car that suited him this year.

Haas Automation had their logo on the Ferrari at the last race. They are now an official sponsor. Could this mean that they have reach a deal to use Ferrari's power and other parts.

Maybe Ferrari could come use the big wind tunnel to find out what's wrong with their car.

Comparison between current 13" wheel and the 18" they tested today.

When you get used to the 13" wheels you stop noticing how small they are but this puts it in perspective. How many other cars run with 13" wheels these days?

No he didn't hand him his arse. Lewis had a brake failure. Yes Nico got pole, but we'll never know if he or Lewis would have been fastest. Guess we'll figure that out next race. Oh how I'd have loved to see Bottas & Williams on pole. Two tenths might as well have been two miles.

Spoiler warning for those who have yet to watch......

We will have to agree to disagree on your first point.:) Lewis sure drove a fine race today. I did not expect him to go through the field as well as he did.

Loving the Ferrari Red Bull duals. Last race Vettal & Alonso, this race Alonso & Ricciardo great stuff.

Yes I believe Fernando is much faster than Kimi. This is a sad way for Kimi to end his F1 career.

All this whilst Nico had a pleasant and leisurely drive through the German countryside on his way to victory!!

Yes I really am beginning to think Kimi isn't even trying, he's driving to get bought out again.....

And poor Massa, he is his own worst enemy.

Yes Nico had a boring race today. I enjoy watching racing. Not Nico's fault just the way it turned out. I'm glad there is lots of racing going on for the rest of the points, otherwise I'd be bored.

I feel sorry for Massa , but he did himself in this time. Glad he escaped unharmed.
