I have been a long time F1 fan, But I am losing interest. There is to much artificial crap on the cars to make a good show.

Agreed, no one races at that level to just be happy to be out their trundling around. Not sure how or why F1 does anything, but it seems to me the back markers should receive some sort of stipend to help them make the grid. Lord knows there is enough money that Bernie pals suck out of everyone's pockets.

F1 has become a money sucking monster over loaded with stupid tech. Not sure how or if that monster can be put back in the bottle.

It does make sense to me to have Porsche take the helm in the Le Mans and GT Racing. DTM is hard to call, the Panamera is NOT DTM material.

There are a lot of stories swirling around about Alonso going with Audi because Domenicali is there.

The amount of money that Bernie and his cohorts at CVC have pulled put of F1 over the years would more than cover the costs a few teams. The payouts in F1 are ludicrous. But the teams let this happen.

    Speaking of millions.....

Alonso squeezing Ferrari for big severance payout (grandprix247.com)
I'm surprised none of the regular pundits are trying to start a rumor that Ferrari have three drivers signed because they plan to run three cars next year.

I was thinking the same thing this morning. They see the writing on the wall and want to have the best line up. I think 3 cars could be the reason for the Alonso to Merc roamers.

I love that idea  It's almost a 2 tiered system now with how some teams have the money and others don't. It would give us innovation in F1 again. It would provide an entry level for new teams and new drivers. Maybe even drivers that have talent instead of just a bunch of money (Maldonado).

The big teams will never agree to share their large piece of the pie.

Have no desire to see F1 become a five or six team series... Silly season is just that but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

I find it interesting that he's as fast with his old, down on power engine as he is with a new fresh one. No matter, he's a 5th/6th place car....

Wonderful track, it's on my bucket list to drive it someday - better happen soon tho, I'm not getting any younger!

Of course Lewis could crash into Nico and take them both out on the first lap and he would be Champion... Going to be fun to watch!!!

Let them rip with the turbo V6 and douche all the hybrid crap... Keep a cap on how much fuel can be used during a race and let the engineers figure out how to make the most power efficiently. That is technology that can be applied across the board, even to miniscule motors with hybrid stuff attached to them for the road...

But Massa would have been Champion in 2008 with double points!

I'm surprised that Ferrari has not negotiated triple points for Alonso in all races.
