Don't expect much info on his condition, the family wants privacy and the team seem to respect that.

I saw another video from a different angle. A brutal hit at a huge speed.

Yes, and that begs the question - why was he going that fast in those conditions with double yellow flags waving?
I hope he recovers fully but I'm concerned that he may have ended his driving career, if not his life. -

A bit early to question what Jules was doing if you ask me.
For me all that matters is that he survives & recovers. -

No doubt in my mind that they are doing the investigation of the accident even since it took place. I too hope they do not do any knee jerk rules changes.
The one thing that seems easy to me is keep cranes behind the barriers. Other turns had boom cranes positioned in that way. Why did this corner have a tractor type crane that had to go to the track side of the barriers to retrieve a car? Lots of questions hope the answer is as simple as I think it can be.
At the speed Jules went into that corner station I'm wondering if is possible brake failure played into this. -
Good god.

Bernie is trying to get the video removed everywhere.
Bianchi's head had to have hit the back of the the tractor at high speed. Unless he saw it coming and ducked some. It can't believe he's alive.
I hope he can come back next year. -
Any read the articles floating around out there with Bianchi's family history?
He's a 4th generation racer and not the first one in the family to race F1. However, the family is beset by many racing tragedies...

The press are reporting a 'Diffuse axonal injury' for Bianchi.

I wounder if 2 of the 3 teams that are in money troubles, Caterham, Sauber, and Marussia, fall out if Bernie will pressure Haas to start early to keep 20 cars in the field.

My offer to Caterham for free tires worn down to racing depth still stands. Yet no one calls. I'll extend that off to Sauber too. First one here gets them.

So, if the Hamster winds up back in the loving arms of his Momma, Big Mac, will Mercedes hire Alonso, or will they decide they don't need him and bring up someone from their own young driver's program?
And if Mercedes doesn't hire Alonso, where will he go? Williams maybe?
Enquiring minds want to know! -
