Great postings guys, thanks very much! As others have said, the cooling vents are gigantic. These engines must desperately need massive amounts of fresh air for cooling. Heck, I wonder if some of them will retire simply sitting on the grid in 100 degree + temps at Malaysia, waiting for Charlie to trip the lights. The V-6 has a more refined, "tuned" sound, which is a shame-very sterilized. Gone is the LOUD, ragged, raw, nasty sound of that V-8. Won't know for sure until I hear them all together on the track, but, based on the sound clip, I don't think I am going to need to wear earplugs in Austin anymore :frown5:
To be fair to the FIAT, F14T (or F 14 T, or maybe it's F14-T ?) derives from Ferrari 2014 Turbo...or something like that.

It's OK. None of them are going to finish a race for the first few rounds anyway. Motor racing-Lauda and Ferrari agree; reliability is key | Reuters
I think Sauber published photos from carefully chosen angles so I'll reserve judgment for now. The Lotus nose looks most interesting to me. Of course, I'd love to see a grid full of beautiful cars but function is FAR more important than form and should reign supreme in an F1 car design. Don't get to see how they function for a while though so I'm as happy to talk about the misshapen proboscises as everyone else at least until the pundits have finished wringing that subject dry and move on to other interesting aspects of the cars. Looking forward to seeing Adrian Newey's creation. :yesnod:
Speaking of pundits, Chris Harris is hooked on his "nose willies" comments (I'm using his more tame choice of words there). "F1 sponsorship from companies specialising in 'marital aids' is surely only a matter of time. Tmrw's test could look like a ***** convention." (yes, I edited that...you can figure it out)
Interesting livery on the Torro Rosso nose. It says "Look at the gold part. There is nothing weird here. Look at the gold part."
