You know, it seems familiar somehow; McLaren says 22 races and a triple header possible, and Red Bull says it can't be done. Hmmmm... where have I heard Red Bull complain before... when other teams weren't.... hmmmm.....
Yes, but Red Bull has to work logistics and costs for two teams, not just one.... Besides, over the years all of the teams have complained bitterly about one thing or another, just like a bunch of whiney girlie men....... I think Pirelli should just build 4 compounds of tires and let the teams figure how to make them work, and stay out of the rest of it - that way they can't be accused of favoritism.

Felipe Massa believes Williams can benefit from a major change in Formula 1 rules to jump up the grid next season. New engine and chassis regulations are being introduced in 2014 and the Brazilian told BBC Sport he sees his move from Ferrari as a "restart" for both him and his new team. "This year, Williams are having a very difficult championship," he said of 2013, which has been the worst season in Williams's history. "But in 2014 everything is different and it is not impossible to be fighting for top four or five in the constructors' championship. We need to believe and fight for that." Massa visited the Williams factory for the first time on Monday and said he was impressed with what he had seen. "I'm so convinced [in Williams's potential] because it is a big change next year. Everything changes - the car will be completely different - and I think Williams has all the capacity to do a good job. "With all this change, the direction I can see [in the team] for next year is more important than anything."
....and I'm sure Williams was very impressed with the bankroll that Massa will bring with him.. This is probably the best seat with the most potential for Massa, tis a good match.
Yup, and he has a multi-year contract. Wonder whether Maldonado will be able to find a seat now given the questionable nature of his gov't sourced funding.
I'm glad of this news. Massa's really getting back into form this season, and Williams deserves a good and motivated driver of his ability.
I'm very happy to see Massa land in a team that has potential. Time will tell, but with major changes in store for 2014 I think Massa & Williams have a decent shot at success.
Now what will Ferrari do if Kimi's back surgery doesn't come out well and he has to retire again? I'm just stirring the pot.
The cars have been ugly for a long time. This will be just a different version of ugly. It's all about crossing the line first. Ain't no beauty contest.
I wish they would have a very small total square inch of spoiler rule...force them to get rid of some of the seemingly ever increasing and endless amounts of winglets and areo crap... The front spoilers for instance, are looking more and more like some Ron Popell vegetable dicer....
