I think the Justa has a better looking bumper than the "S"....
Just can't get over the "Tacked On" look of the lower grill surround or the scrolls around the fog lights.... Ugh..-

C'mon Dave. It doesn't look too shabby. The LEDs make it look like a crazed lunatic and the bumper makes is look like it has a mouth guard in. If it was made to look like someone is getting shock therapy then they got that spot on.

Except now you. And my wife. And my immediate nuclear family. And my co-workers. And the guy that built my house. And a few people in the Fox Valley, and the neighboring states of Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.-

Dave, I'm worried, are you feeling ok?
I still like my R56, though I'm really starting to miss it. Its been at the shop too long now.-

I wish I'd had the money to order a dozen clones of my car on the day I took delivery back in 2005. I got exactly the car I wanted and I used it for a daily driver for 3 years. I saw the writing on the wall and stopped driving mine except sparingly for fun. My regret is that I couldn't afford a lifetime supply of them back when the getting was good.

While I'm not running to a showroom soon, I like what I see and even more about what I read. The new engines are the big story in my mind. The exterior looks fresh and a good update, but what do I know? I drive a Clubman. LOL. I'll do my ultimate critique once I have a chance to see one in person and take a turn behind the wheel.
As for the clubby update, well … I am less enthusiastic. Hearing that the car is bigger and now has 4 regular doors doesn't really inspire me (is a Paceman, my next MINI?). So, let's wait and see.
Cheers all,
LW-

While I really dislike aspects of the nose and tail on these... I actually do like what I'm seeing of the interior and side view (especially darker colors).
Soooooo..... Heresy.... But I'm intrigued by the F55
In 18 months, Blimey will have about 175k miles. Will be about time to retire him from daily driver duty and save him for weekends and top-down days.
F55 S would give me something new, fun, fast, that I could shove a couple of clients into when necessary, with better daily driver economy...and fits my preferences better than the Countryman. Or any of the relatively huge alternatives I've been considering...-

Like some others have said "Well I don't hate it." I think perfectly describes it. But that 2.0L motor has so much headroom that you have to respect it. I have read that it will make over 300hp all day long if desired.
