We won't be there this year. We have a cruise booked instead. Tough choice. First year of MINI ownership where I won't be down there. I hope it forgives me!

Not meaning to offend those that no longer have mini's, but are there a lot of non mini's that show up to a mini event like this?
Isn't that kind if strange? -
This may be the last year that I go to MOTD, but will still try to make an annual pilgrimage to the area. I have read that there is a couple of VAG events that take place in the April/May time frame, so I might check one of those out next year. -

I will be taking my Jeep, because my MINI is still without a working engine. Going down there is going to change that though.

Where is a good place to stay? Something with truck and trailer parking.

I was thinking more along the lines of camping it, I'm throwing the stock tires on for the voyage. Would rather get 20-22 MPG than 16-18.

Fontana Village has a campground. The spaces are so big that often a few people will share one.
