Don't do it Chris! He'll probably sell it and bring you back something he finds locally down there...
Exactly! We had Checkers on the Dragon this past September after the "mild" suspension upgrades, and it was a blast. that All4 really helps me get more out of the car-don't have to worry about the rear stepping out nearly as much as it otherwise might.
Not meaning to offend those that no longer have mini's, but are there a lot of non mini's that show up to a mini event like this? Isn't that kind if strange?
No offense taken on my part. You usually see a few non-mini owners at Fontana during the week. Not sure if they are all former owners or if they are just friends of owners. Speaking for myself, I'm planning to go because I enjoy hanging out with the people I have met over my almost 6 years of mini ownership. I doubt that I will sign up for many official drives, so I don't take spots away from owners. This may be the last year that I go to MOTD, but will still try to make an annual pilgrimage to the area. I have read that there is a couple of VAG events that take place in the April/May time frame, so I might check one of those out next year.
I will be taking my Jeep, because my MINI is still without a working engine. Going down there is going to change that though.
I believe that the "Wookies n the woods" event takes place the week before MOTD. (It's the name of the event for VW R32 owners)
