The rain showed Vettel is more of a driver than Rosberg is. I love the rain it equals the cars a bit & showcases driver talent. Bet Fernando is not very happy to see Vettel up where he is. I hope it is a wet race, could be a good one.
That sounds fun but it's DVR for me. I'm trying to force myself back to more normal waking hours. Getting to sleep consistently earlier than 3AM is just the beginning, and a 4AM start time would seriously screw with what little progress I've made.
Okay, so I guess it starts earlier than 4AM. Apparently formula1.com needs to fix their timer. Glad I checked when setting the DVR.
Now THAT's what I'm talking about.....that was a race! Well done, boys! Well done! Alonso has to be wondering what the hell he did!
What was it the head of Fiat said last year as he was taking a broom to Ferrari racing, "It's not a Ferrari if it isn't winning?" Well Sir that was a Ferrari today, well done, I'ma happy man!!!
Yep, they had the pace, they had a good strategy and the right driver. Great to see Vettel back on form and taking the fight to the Mercedes boys. I'm also encouraged by Kimi's pace during the race after coming from dead last after getting a flat on the first lap. He needs to improve his qualifying, but if he does he'll be right there too. On top of that there were great challenges all down the pack the whole race. I'm very impressed with Toro Rosso's teenagers this season, so far they've made the varsity team look pretty bad...... Lotus is still woeful, even with Mercedes power......and Alonso can talk all he wants about it being a learning year, but Button was faster than him on track today too. All in all, a very fun day in F1!
I figured to see the race we did today it would have had to be a wet race. Not so all it took was Benz screwing up their strategy & Ferrari having a car that was close enough. Vettel drove a fine race as did Kimster. Oh how I wanted the second red car to land on the podium.

Not a Seb fan, but the emotion he showed on the podium made me think that maybe the disappointing season he had last year has had a positive effect on his personality.
That was the best race since the middle of 2013!! Hammy didn't look happy but not as upset as I thought. Evidently he was quite surprised when he found out Seb was only 3 points behind him. Nico's podium expression said a lot. "Oh crap now I have to deal with 2 of the them". This looks like it could be a good season after all.
Ferrari snuck up on them this time, rest assured M/B's strategy in the future will be based upon the boys in red having a faster pace.. Hopefully Ferrari will improve even more and ruin many more M/B parties this season!!!
