He's also been quoted more than once calling Europe the next third world. In other words, "Why stay in Europe if the easy money is elsewhere?"
Bernie is just a miserable old man who if it were not for his money would not have a friend in the world.

Boy, the faces told the story in the after qually interview, didn't they? http://www.formula1.com/content/fom-website/en/latest/headlines/2015/5/fia-post-qualifying-press-conference---spain.html
I would have thought an incident like a set of tires burning because of a tire warmer malfunction would be reasonable grounds for replacement. I guess not? Burning blanket costs Kimi a set of tyres (racer.com)
No tears from me. Nico had Lewis' measure this weekend. If Nico can screw up quali again this year at Monte we may get to see him on the top step again. It's a long road to the championship & I'm still thinking it will be Lewis. Time will tell & the best man will win.
Now that cat ^ is out of the bag I don't think a SPOILER ALERT is necessary for the following but just in case... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 9 different winners in 9 years is an impressive stat. 2007-MAS 2008-RAI 2009-BUT 2010-WEB 2011-VET 2012-MAL 2013-ALO 2014-HAM 2015-ROS
This was just what Nico needed, the whole weekend was good for him, now he'll have great momentum for Monaco - his home race. The poor Reds Bull......definitely not going to be their year, Vettel jumped just in time - who'd a thunk it? And while Vettel is clearly the best of the rest, they are just not as fast as the boys in silver/green. Not this year anyway. But they're both so much improved from last year that it has to be heartening. What's up with the Toro Rosso's? They qualify great, then just sort of drift backwards.....wonder why? Nico just drove away from the field in the opening stint, kinda like Vettel used to do...and it was fun seeing the Hamster have the same problem Nico did when he was stuck behind Vettel, can't get close enough to pass..... Strategy worked for the Benzer boys this weekend, and not for the boys in the red jammies. I don't know if you all read the press conference notes from the last race, but at one point after being asked about 5 questions in a row (and ignoring the other guys on the podium) Vettel apologized to the other drivers - saying these (reporters) hadn't asked him one question in the last four years, it just comes with the red suit he guessed - pretty funny!
Remember the Lotus jack man who was hit by Grosjean (I think) and then seen sitting in the garage holding a bag of ice against his crotch? Poor guy suffered further documented embarrassment later... What a proud way to be "carted" away.
Spot on Minidave. Twas a great and dominant performance by Nico, not one wrong move and drove away from the field like a man possessed... Wonder if Lewis is reconsidering the wisdom in going on a 3 week celebrity party tour about now..lol
