I wish this was in English. Max Verstappen driving his Dad, Jos, around Monaco. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djcJbMtRCQM"]Max Verstappen doet rondje Monaco met vader Jos - YouTube[/ame]
Maybe the victory laps Hamilton's been running after his recent 150 Mil award didn't set well with team owners. A horrible gut check if so... A fitting victory at home for Rosberg.
He is too young to do this when the roads are open (too young for a driver's licence - 18 is the minimum in the Netherlands) and judging by his driving, you have to suspect that being a driving prodigy who gets into F1 before driving on the public roads may not be the best training......
On one of the last laps, after Ricciardo had passed Kvyat, I heard a radio transmission between Ricciardo and his team telling him if he couldn't pass someone he would have to give the position back. I couldn't imagine what that was about, definitely didn't guess they'd made a deal. Kvyat scores career-best result in Monaco after Ricciardo honors in-race agreement (motorsportstalk.nbcsports.com)
Wondering whether or not Ricciardo/the team will be fined or penalized for conspiring to manipulate the results
Did anyone find out why the DRS was not working on Hamilton's car while he was in third place? Commentators were on top of it while it was happening but the hoopla about the big screw-up took over after the race and I haven't heard anything about it since.
Team orders are not banned anymore........ and I agree, would love to find out why the DRS wasn't being used.
I haven't seen anything and I've been looking. Seems like they may be too busy with that other little bugaboo to deal with what looked like a DRS issue. In fact, though, I still haven't even seen anything that indicated he actually had a DRS malfunction other than the comments from U.S. announcers.
Why does it seem like the only people we ever hear speaking common sense are those who have no control? Strategy Group has "no strategy," Lowdon says (racer.com)
Something tells me the race this weekend won't yield anything as entertaining as Button's 2011 win. On the other hand, few races have. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1cXCWzBQh8"]Jenson Button Canada 2011 - YouTube[/ame]
If Ferrari put in their new engine this will be the test for what the rest of the season will be like. If Merc still runs away then they will dominate the rest of the season and more TVs will be switched off.
Oooo, another great Montreal flashback. Still hard to believe this happened. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbSL8edgC3Y"]Hamilton & Raikkonen & Rosberg Crash in F1 2008 Canada GP - F1PARK.com - YouTube[/ame]
Ummm...something not quite right here but I can't put my finger on what it is... (I think this is from FP1)
