Thanks guys! Although I have been a member here for about 4 years. I used to have a 2003 R53. I really like all the options this MINI was ordered with; the JCW interior and exterior packages, excitement package, comfort access, lounge leather, etc.

Agreed - that pretty much fully optioned. I do like the quality of the new interiors. Now it’s time for mods.. :)

Yep! It is missing the park assist and the Nav, but I didn't like the joystick thing anyway. And I ordered my first mod! It's the clutch stop to reduce the dead space in the clutch pedal travel.

Nice - I need to look into something like that for mine. The clutch is quite dead compared to what I'm used to. Ask @Dave.0 who watched me stall that bad boy in style. :Ninja:

I'll post here on my thoughts when I get it installed. I'm going on vacation this weekend so it may be next week before I get it on.

My Fiancée is learning to drive, and she loves the new feeling because she doesn't have to search for the engagement point.

Hahaha Maybe I should reword that... Nah.

More Mods though! MINI emblem puddle lights and new valve stem caps (I was missing one). Plus I got the Bimmercode app and a recommended Bluetooth adapter (Veepeak 4.0).

The clutch pedal stop came in yesterday, quick shipping by Burger Tuning! (LINK) It came in and looks exactly like the image. The tab doesn't fit exactly but I managed to get it to stay in without cutting a hole in the stock stop (although if I have problems with it falling out I will). Installation took about 3 minutes.

Thoughts: I Like it! I left all 3 spacers on, and it took the travel down to about 1/4" until the clutch starts engaging. It feels great and makes shifting easier without needing muscle memory to know where the clutch engages. For $10 and free shipping, its hard to beat.

Ok - I’ll need to look at that. My clutch is sooo soft. No feeling of engagement. Granted I’m used to a lightened flywheel and direct clutch. When the boss (wife) drives she stalls it twice until muscle memory works. Then she rolls... :D
