I wonder if 35 hp is enough to get back the 1/2 to 1 sec advantage Benz has shown, or if they'll just turn up the wick a bit more on their engine too?

It was sure nice to see a different podium for a change. Loved that first lap!

Death knell for the Monaco GP? Probably not. Even if the development goes ahead, I imagine they'll find a work-around. Looks to me like the sort of exaggerated drama that's common these days. On the other hand, space does seem to be at a premium in Monaco so maybe ...

Only Ricciardo has the upgraded Renault engine, Verstappen has the previous version. Still, should be interesting given the RB chassis was expected to shine at Monaco anyway where engine/power differences are a bit less important.

I thought only the Renault team were going to get the new engines for this race. Good move on their part. They can see how far off their chassis is compared to RB.
If Ferrari can't get something together here some heads may role. -

I think Ricky Racer is going to make the absolute best of this race, but I would not be surprised to see a Merc on poll even so.
I think most people would like to see a Red Bull (or anyone else besides MBZ) win a few races this year and I'm not seeing anyone else besides RB and Ferrari mounting much of a challenge....sure not going to be Williams or Big Mac this year...... -
Does anyone remember what team replaced Minardi on the grid when they folded?

I'm sure hoping to see Daniel Ricciardo on the pole. That would make this old fart a very happy camper. Should he win, oh wow, oh wow, OH WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right - Toro Rosso is the former Minardi team, they've done pretty well since then too.

Thanks, at first I was going to say RB.

So, now, what will happen if it rains tomorrow, as it's supposed to?
