If the parts are loose it stands to reason they might lose some. Maybe some F1 grade duct tape is needed. This should be an interesting race.

That would be fun...but it's definitely not the only reason it's a shame they replaced those cobblestones with blacktop.
Formula E races put a temporary blacktop surface over cobblestones that can be remove easily later. I wonder if they did something similar here.
The cobble-stone paved streets covered with asphalt layers will restore their initial look after the race https://www.bakucitycircuit.com/media/press-releases/72/the-cobble-stone-paved-streets-covered-with-asphalt-layers-will-restore-their-initial-look-after-the-race
Those long straights give an opportunity for a pass at the end, better not have too much downforce tho or they'll run off and leave you down that straight.

Based on what I saw in FP1 and FP2, I think there will be a lot of attrition in this race, either from contact with the walls or thru mechanical failure. I also think Mercedes will prevail again, and now that the Hamster has the championship in hand again, he's gonna be after it. But if Vettel gets another blazing start, the race is his unless his team strategist screws it up again.
