I'm watching the other teams. Hoping beyond hope that McLaren gets their act together. Also, they really need to lose the current livery and go back to a classic one.
MAcHonda have made great progress, they're now only about 1 - 1 1/2 secs off the leaders times, they were 7 seconds back! I think several teams are poised to have a pretty great season next year, including MacHonda and Renault as well as Red Bull, but after firing James Allen I don't think Ferrari will be one of them....sad to say. I heard Ferrari were desperately trying to get Ross Braun back, but that he's happy fishing.....

All quiet here on this racing weekend. Everybody gave up for the season? The biggest news is that Ecclestone's kidnapped mother-in-law has been freed: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-36938252
Timing was lousy for me this weekend and I missed the F1. Didn't have to miss all the racing this weekend but couldn't fit in the F1 race. Glad to see the Brazilian authorities caught the bastidges. That woman didn't deserve to go through that ordeal just because her daughter married a troll with too much money.
Lewis wins again! Nico has more problems with his steering. "I was at full lock" he whined. Great to see the Red Bull's on the podium. No smiles at Ferrari, Vettel is still screaming for blue flags. Great news that Bernie's mother in law was rescued unharmed.
Yep, another race who's outcome was decided in the first lap, in fact in the first couple of turns of the first lap...... Nico got a terrible start, he was so slow it almost looked like he was in reverse gear! Then that "pass" late in the race.....jeez....he was at full lock - once he turned the damn wheel, of course by then he was almost past the turn....... And Massa, what a terrible race he had - I do hope they find something broken, cause otherwise the only conclusion is that HE is broken....and done in F1. McHonda still showing gains, they are now a solid midfield player.....for what that's worth. Haas still having decent races, I'll be interested to see what they bring next year, whether they'll improve or have the traditional sophomore slump..... Red Bull continues to improve, if they get that rumored 47hp bump when they come back from the break, it could be an interesting finish to the year. I still think Mercedes will win it all, but we could see some Red Bull winners. The rest of the season will be interesting for Hammy as he starts taking penalties for engine components.....
The sight of Ricciardio drinking out of the racing shoe he had just worn for 67 laps gave me nightmares last night! Which was strange because him and Max being in front of Rossberg was a dream come true.
Someone else will take their place at the front. People will complain about them too. And so it goes in the world of F1.
Since Hammy said he turned the engine down after lap 2 I guess the folks that said Merc were sandbagging were right. I can't wait until next year when it all starts over.
Makes sense to me. Why run at 100% if all you need is 85% to beat your rivals? Saving an engine is a good plan. Next year will be interesting, but I wouldn't count out the silver cars just yet. I'd like to see another team score a win or two. The absolute domination shown by the silver cars is tiring for those of you who love red cars. I remember clearly how the red cars dominated for many years & figure someone else showing dominance is just the way it works.
