Strange. A couple days ago McLaren announced Richard Mille, another watch maker, as a new sponsor for this season (you can see the name on their new livery, top edge of bulkhead, here) and now I see it on the nose of the Haas car as well.
The Infiniti branding on the Red Bull made sense when you consider the Renault engine powering (or trying to) the Red Bull car since Renault and Nissan are partners. Not unlike the old Fiat branding on the cars from Maranello.

Yay! McLaren completed a bunch of laps! Since last year, they pretty much just sat still during testing.
With all the wind tunnel work HAAS did I expected something a little less conventional. Maybe they found conventional done right works well.
Hey 8th on the first day of testing would have been a dream come true for McHonda last year, I think Haas is doing exactly as I thought they would, come out mid field and go from there.... It's interesting that Manor is still so far off the pace, I thought sure with MBZ power they'd be at least not last this year, I mean Renault is in front of them with two no-name drivers. And btw, this current practice time lineup is pretty much how I expect them to finish the season too.....except Manor - I really thought they'd do better but I guess someone has to be last. Ferrari Merc Reds Bull Williams Toro Rosso McHonda Haas Force India Renault Manor Force India and Renault because both teams have been shattered by all the goings on at the end of last season, buy outs, bankruptcies, jailing of the principals etc. Haas because they're brandy new and have a steep learning curve this season McHonda because they simply couldn't do as poorly as last season and remain on the grid - Ron Dennis would commit hari-kari ! Red Bull because despite having a less powerful engine they do have a terrific chassis and a gung ho driver. The top two because it's Ferrari's turn...
