If more people did this, the world would be a much better place.

Love the bionic clown shoe! :D

Not enough interest in a hard top version for Mazda to tool one up. They will more than likely have a power folding hard top version in the mix, those will sell.

I'd guess there will be a removable hard top & a folding top version. There is now & I'd bet they'd sell more than a few of them.

Mazda is a small company & can't afford to build a car that won't sell well. The new MX5 was a collaboration with with Alfa/Fiat to save them money.

All signals that there will be a real coupe version.... Would pull a lot of sales away fro BRZ... [emoji41]

Actually if the weight is 2200 pounds and they have 180 something hp and 180 something ft pounds of torque that our new 3 SGT has, the MX5 will leave the heavier and less torqued BRZ watching the Mazda dissapear into the distance....

Of course that is a lot of if... Lol[emoji6]

PS: Doesn't the BRZ only have about 130 ft-lbs of torque off the showroom floor, less than even the smaller 2.0 Skyactive's 150?

Just slip a 5 liter Ford V8 or a small block Chevy motor in it. There are kits available for that that are E.P.A. approved. The kit makers will even do it for you.

Our (the wife's) brand new loaded 3SGT, great car and fun to drive, and as far as power? With the larger na 2.5 motor it will stand up for itself against a stock Mini S very well. Plus our lab has tons of room to roam in the back with the seats folded! Oh and did I mention it also gets great MPG on regular gas?

Nice 3 Mark, Mazda has done a very good job on that one. I'm glad they got rid of the joker face the previous generation had.

If I black it out I want to do the strip under the windows too, next is window tint!!

They are a lot of car for the money but you can get them up into the low $30's pretty quick if you add all the tech packages on a SGT... Still a deal for all that they are!!

Love the seats in it too, almost identical to a buddy of mines Pan Amera !

The belt line is easier than the grille trim. No grille removal needed.

Funny you mentioned it being a lotta car for the money. I said that to a buddy who booked a Fit. Upon seeing mine, he ditched the reservation & ordered an M3 hatch instantly. The WedsSport wheels arrived 1st, though. :)

First thing we did was broom the Dunlops that came on it and put a larger size Michelin Sport 3 A/S tires on it!

Also looking at some of the factory aero bits, the front splitter and side skirts to be exact.
