Did you guys check this out:
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mZBouwiYGU"]Picking the 2015 Motor Trend Best Driver's Car! - YouTube[/ame]
TLDR: The ND came in third to a 911 and a Benz AMG.
Apparently, the Miata lost to the Camaro for MotorTrend's 2015 COTY in a 5-4 vote.-

The main culprit? Taking a European designed car, and modifying it to meet U.S. regulations. To the tune of adding 342 pounds. The European spec 4c is lighter than a Miata. Mazda did it right, and had the U.S. cleanly in it's sights when it built the new Mazda. Alfa didn't.-

The ironic side benefit could be improved J.D. Power quality ratings for FIAT by having Mazda do the build and assembly.... Then FIAT could put all their efforts at improving the reliability of their engines that go into this chassis...

Unfortunately as far as I could find, that Alfa was only a 2011 concept.
I think the Fiata looks very Japanese and not very Italian at all.-

Unlike my R53, I haven't really had the opportunity to whip my ND around any corner. I'm not quite used RWD, so the slight oversteer around hard corners always catches me off guard. I always punk out at the last minute lol.

Same, same...
If it's not an eco-friendly appliance, it's built with the best of intentions from the worst of parts these days. [emoji20]

Just needs bigger lights...

Lighter though too. Maybe up to 300lbs lighter. Bigger engine bay up front. Add those two together, and there are some serious possibilities for what that longer chassis may be able to do.
Found only one thing I wish we're different: the exhaust. I have never been a fan of a twin side exhaust. Put dual tailpipes down the center or one on each side split, but not both together on the same side. Probably not too hard to fix though.
