Did you notice how many comments indicated a preference for the Photoshopped version of the design in the feature photo, rather than that of the big camouflaged beast lumbering around the track in the video?
I guess the MF fanboys didn't appreciate it...the feature photo still shows up on the home page (at least as of this morning) but they yanked it from the post, along with the photo disclaimer. The MF favorable bias toward corporate MINI is getting so pervasive it's getting harder to find actual objectivity over there. Too afraid that DD will cut off their access to emerging info, I guess.
Conspiracy theories aside, it was stupid to use the original image and they did the right thing to replace it with a photo that actually matches the article.
