Oh NO!!! NOT ESPN!!!! Remember how crappy their coverage was! I remember everything preempted F1 even sports center! Baseball would run long and guess what no race for you!

Leigh Diffey didn't bother me. I thought he did a good job. Time will tell if any of the current crew moves to ESPN.

Here's a fun Japanese GP flashback.

Now that's racing, sure miss that sound.

Won’t matter to me unless they offer a legal way to stream it. As a cord cutter, I’ve been watching Sky for years, one way or another.
I would happily pay Sky for the privilege of streaming the races, but that’s not an option right now. -

Anyone know if the rest of the weekend will be wet?

It's Suzuka, isn't it always a wet race? :biggrin5:

I haven't seen a recent forecast but early Fri I read they were predicting rain Fri and Sat but dry Sun.

So this is Palmer’s last race of the season, Saintz will be taking his seat at Renault next race, and Kvyat will return to STR.
Man, F1 is weird sometimes. -

I feel for Joylon, he's had some really terrible luck this season but unfortunately some of the younger guys like Stroll, Verstappen and even Vettel have kept raising the bar, no more 2 or 3 seasons to get up to speed with a backmarker car - you're expected to produce - now - or you will be replaced.
I'm a little surprised they're keeping Kvyat, but I think it may be money that's forcing that decision. -
Gasley was STR’s backup driver, and he’s already got a seat. Kubica was a possibility, but he’s pitched for Williams.
Also, unrelated, Alonso just picked up a 35 grid place penalty after qualifying 10th, for a PU exchange for a hydraulic leak. The man has no luck. -
