Interesting article in The Telegraph Bernie Ecclestone to be eased aside as Liberty head for F1 ownership
Yay???? Sometimes the devil you don't know can be worse than the one you do......won't know for sure till the season is well underway, but........well, we'll see. Some say it can't be any worse than it is now, but I dunno.......
And.....Bernie's done Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that he has lost his position as the CEO of the Formula 1 Group, and has been replaced by Liberty Media's Chase Carey. http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/ecclestone-confirms-chase-carey-has-replaced-him-as-ceo-of-f1-868019/
I agree, it's about time! And at the same time I'm starting to get a little worried about how Liberty will handle things. Can't be as bad as Bernie though...right?
Could be worse.......we'll know in a few months time. If he adds enough races to make a schedule like NASCAR.......
This is a good sign, I think. Ross Brawn, Sean Bratches confirmed in top F1 roles (motorsports.nbcsports.com)
Referring to Ecclestone's exit: [ame]https://twitter.com/joesaward/status/823706722833485824[/ame] I don't know, Joe ... sounds rather fitting to me.
Bernie out and Brawn in. The future of F1 is looking better. So far they have talked about more races, a better split to the money so small teams can survive, and simpler car specs to make it more affordable. I like it so far.
 I won't post the content here because of a bit of NSFW language but click through, it's worth it. (for maximum effect, pay attention to the names as you read...) Bernie takes a hostage!
I wonder how long it will take for people to realize Bernie is no longer a threat and they start to tell stories they've been afraid to tell...
