I haven't been here for a while. On Monday, I said goodbye after 6 years of happy driving when I found an almost exact match but with upgrades.
New to me features are: cold weather package, cruise control, steering wheel radio controls and sunroof. Gone are my rust, suspension issues and cracked leather seats.

New to the forum, new to minis, BUT not new to cars.
Drove to work and at lunch looked to see that I got flanked on both sides from other minis. Seems like there is some kind of rule that says "park next to the Mini"Attached Files:

A friend's boss has a show car, with many layers of candy paint, that gave the paint a deep rich look, it was a show winner. He took it to the store one nice day and parked far away from the store in an empty part of the parking lot.
While he was still sitting in the car, another car pulled up next to him and the diver got out and let his door ding the side of the pristine show car, it even chipped the paint. The show car owner got out, surveyed the damage, yelled, "WHY?" Then he jumped up on the offender's car's hood and kicked the windshield in. The other driver just stood there with his mouth open.
The show car owner then got into his car and drove back home. He never heard another thing about the incident.-
