It's warmed up enough here now. One more shot of the oxymoron (a big MINI) before the Black wheels and snowtires come off tomorrow morning.
May want to rethink Krispy Kreme. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/german-family-owns-krispy-kreme-admits-it-profited-nazi-ties-180971806/
Many German companies profited during the war by exploiting Jew's & other's by using them as slave labor. A very sad chapter in world history. Kispy Kreme - I justa think they make a poor quality donut.
I would like to think that the generation after have turned a page in their history and hope they have changed. As far as quality of doughnut goes, Nobody goes to Krispy Kreme as a norm. They are 5 minutes from my place but I hardly ever go there. It's something done from time to time but not habitual. I still think their doughnuts have way too much sugar but are still better than Tim Horton's. Tim Horton's in Canada are overrated. I have no idea why people like them so much. Now let's get back to talking MINIs. Not mini donuts.
What sits my my driveway. Wife took the F60 Countryman out, and I had just finished putting a new clutch in the mid-engined car.
I haven't been here for a while. On Monday, I said goodbye after 6 years of happy driving when I found an almost exact match but with upgrades. New to me features are: cold weather package, cruise control, steering wheel radio controls and sunroof. Gone are my rust, suspension issues and cracked leather seats.
They do look good, though it took a while for me to get used to it, I still won't get one anytime soon.
Wash. Claybar. Wash again Wax. The bonnet is not quite as bad as the boot. But after 15 years, it still shines.
Took the family car out to where I can put that "ALL4" to good use. I wouldn't exactly say "Jeep Trail Rated", but it aquitted itself okay.
Looks like a fun place to go off the road. We are taking the kids for the camping next weekend, I just got to finish installing the rack and recon light bars on the truck. The Mini will be staying at their grandfather's place as the trail is kinda challenging.
