A few slight adjustments to your grammar. That’s a smooth look’n ride.

I found my Butter cup!!! (That I sold 2 years ago) driving down MY STREET 2 weeks ago!!!! OFCOURSE I flagged him down.
I had done so much to Buttercup, I just had to let him know all that I had done.

I'll be having my hood refinished, as usual, a few small spots in the clear coat have flaked away. I have a guy that is amazing at paint matching. Rest of him is pretty much as new.
I got lucky with a two owner, well documented/maintained JCW.

Cleaning my buddies car as a favor. Asked me to remove roof vinyl. Heat gun and razor blades do the trick, heat up vinyl until it browns like a s’more and then scrap away.

I think it's the focal length and the camera angle that made that Red R56 look so much bigger than the R53.

I'd love one too. There is one on Bring a Trailer now. Are you sure you could live with 108 HP after being spoiled buy the Helmet & Lotus big HP? ;)

My experience with early GTI's is limited to a couple enduro races I did in a friend's MK2 8 valve. It was a fun car that I remember fondly.

Bought this in January down in Florida. Spent a couple months refurbishing it.

Ok I made this thread a sticky. If there is enough interest at the end of the year we will do a calendar. So everyone post some good pictures!

@Dave.0 Is correct. I am Happy with the way my mini turned out but I should have spent more time getting the paint looking better.

If you have a bunch of dings and the bonnet is showing wear, stay with the wax, unless you want the deep shine on your shiny parts. :)

Street sweeper came into my side street and cleaned out the street. Nothing like motoring down clean streets.
