Keep this quiet but I was really talking about Chuck. I started worrying about him when he got the German bread wagon.:D

It’s good to be able laugh at oneself, especially those with diminishing mental capacity. :D

So fast the camera could not capture the whole car. :)

Nice to see a photo of Blu Brit again. Always thought it was a great representative of the modern MINI.

Love those rims! Very classic looking. I always wanted some for my R53

I loved those rims too. In fact I had 2 sets of them, one with summer rubber & one with all seasons. Plus I had a set of holy's with winter shoes. Yes I was a wheel whore.

I'd still be driving BLU BRIT had my left knee not gone to hell. Get thee an automagic said the othopedic doc.

My plan was to buy a new F56, but that didn't work out for reasons. The German breadvan won day. :)

I'd love one too. There is one on Bring a Trailer now. Are you sure you could live with 108 HP after being spoiled buy the Helmet & Lotus big HP? ;)

My experience with early GTI's is limited to a couple enduro races I did in a friend's MK2 8 valve. It was a fun car that I remember fondly.

Yes I could service with 108 HP. It would be a fun car. That one on BAT is nice!

Went to see the car today (clear coating) and it looked pretty good. I should get it back this week I hope.

Those rims were awesome and had truly the classic Mini look! Wish they made them in 15”.

No one makes them anymore. For me 16" was perfect. There is a Rota wheel that looks similar & it's available in 15". Think they are called Rewinds.

Thanks! Appreciate the input, but I am running a 15x7 Kosei wheels and love them. 13.5 pounds and really make a difference with my contact patch & sidewall deflection when used with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R’s(compared to the 5.5” wide white Holies)

The picture of your car on the dragon shows Holies with big tires stuffed onto them. The opposite of tire stretch.

Ge a set of rewinds for those tires. A guy can't have too many wheels. ;)

I thought Minilite or Superlite made a 15” wheel, of course it may not be for a MINI.
