Although I've got a Gen2 Clubman I just ditched my 16" run flats in favor of the JCW R95 18" wheels and 215/45/18 wheels. I wanted to maintain the larger sidewall and put on a sticky tire for summer and choose a Toyo Proxes T1 Sport. I bought them new for less than $100 a piece and will see how they work this summer...if we get one this year.
With the 215/45's I had a slight amount of rubbing on the frame and they were too close for my liking on the LCA's. I bought the Mini retro-fit kit for shortening the travel of the rack and decided to use 12 mm spacers instead. The tire/wheel still is flush with the body and I like the looks. The ride over the run flats is like night and day...noise and ride are improved 100%.

Wet grip is no problem with Dunlop StarSpec's at all.

The reason the roads are so slick in Florida when it rains is every damn car on the road is leaking some type of fluid. Do you even have state safety inspections in Florida? When it rains in Florida you get a nice oil slick on all those flat sun baked roads. Also it does not help that half the drivers have bald tires and are always driving way too fast.

I go to Florida , Ft. Laurdale and drive to Key West every year for vacation. I hate driving in Florida even on sunny days because every car is driven too fast by someone not insured or waiting for God to call them home from God's waiting room state.

Thank God Florida has sun, beaches and hot looking girls or I would never go just like Maine.
