Im my "Neck of the woods" there is an on going radio ad battle between two local jewelers. One claims to be cheaper that the other, one claims to have better clarity diamonds. Once the basics were covered they began to get more detailed in their spouting about diamonds with clarity rating and what not. Now the ads are longer and longer and make you change the channel. Might not be relevant to this ;)

Great numbers for sure. Must feel fantastic to drive!

Great results, My car happily turns out 270 hp on the church dyno and around 260 on this one, Whats that tell you?
Both of them are obviously rockets.
I don't doubt you will be getting head by the end of the year. :)
Hub HP/ Wheel hp its all relative.
Just looks to me Rmw and Newman still build a great package.

Great story but no two Diamonds are alike which is not what we want when choosing a head, exactly why CNC assures consistency in what we get with our hard earned dollars, be it from the aftermarket or from the original equipment manufacturer!!!

230 tis sweetness from an OEM head isn't it?

I think you missed the point. Its not about the product, its the annoying banter back and forth.

    back on topic.

    Blah Blah Blah...

This thread was actually going well...

    So much for adults.

I'm in the process of building a site for some of you that can't seem to get this whole "Motoring Alliance is friendly place".

I just registered I-LIVE-TO-BE-A-JERK-ON-MINI-FORUMS.US I'll need at least a few hours to get it set up please.

Think ya'll can behave till I have it ready for you?

Sorry Nate. Thought I had a valid point to make.

    Again, great results.

No one is really bantering back and forth?

    Seems pretty tame to me...

Regardless....I remember the days long ago when people thought you needed a head to get above 200 wheel

...and I too had a valid point to make and that is that it is not unusual in this day and time to see GPs and other Minis make 260+HP, and a lot more for that matter.

If that was being a jerk, then I'm a jerk.

    The point is this....

Colin doesn't come here until he wants to give crap to someone... He does nothing to further the site. Just pops in. fires a shot and then is gone for months.

jiminni just spent a week on his his high horse about how he gets picked on and then has to come into this thread and nit pick.

    There are more examples...

Some of ya'll are crying so innocent again when there is this undercurrent of negativity and sticking it to others that don't see the things the exact same way you do.

It's getting tiresome to have this undercurrent in some of these threads. I see it starting again in this thread. Someone has some success with RMW, or Mynes, or whomever and those that dislike what others have done start jumping in and craftily kick the "other team".

It's always the same people too. Can't ya'll just stop. Or go do it on MT where the daily grind is to talk all that smack.

It's def up there as one of the best sounding MINI's I've heard....

Silent when you want it to be.....volume when you step on the loud pedal.

Which is exactly why I didn't respond to his nit-picking

    Just his error...

To the OP nice numbers, enjoy the FUN ride.

FYI I also have an RMW car, built by Eric at Helix, tuned by Jan and I have 255 whp on the Helix Mustang Dyno.

4 years old with no issues except I need more Gas, Meth and Tires.

My Mini makes 218 and gets me to work. Oh, and it's a fastest street legal Mini on my block. So there.

Oh, and one time, before band camp, I put on my Hoosiers and drove around the neighborhood. So at that time I was the fastest non-street legal Mini in the neighborhood! Yay!

Oh Nathan, Like i said before, ban me or let the sight have a bit more interest, a bit of arguing never hurt anyone.
you wonder why i don't post, because its more dull then watching Bea Arthur try to pick out underwear, ThumperMCS is a friend, i made a comment.
If you want ill happily continue to not further your site at all. Problem solved.

Colin, I've got nothing personal against you. I don't think I've ever met you and I sure as hell am not going to form an opinion based on an internet forum persona. Your logic however is flawed. A little bit of arguing is annoying to the 99.99% of those not involved in the argument. I think both the people who run the site and the majority of the membership would agree that we've been able to maintain a satisfactory level of interest while avoiding the levels of discord present on other sites. We welcome all input and all opinions, but in certain cases we always have to remind certain people of site rule #1: Don't be a jerk.

If you want to stay the course, then I believe no tears will be shed if you choose to no longer post.
