February autocross in AZ started cold in the morning but ended up as a gorgeous day. Thanks again for the advice and the warnings about some sort of addictive quality to the sport(but I don't believe that for a minute- hold on while I register for the next event in another city). Again the club allowed instructors in the novice class and I think it was the last run of the time only runs at the end of the day when another nugget of info truly made sense. I managed to have a great time in the novice class with my Just a Cooper. What a blast! The people are friendly and learning how to drive with some speed and precision is exciting.
Glad you enjoyed it. I've been autocrossing for a year and I'm hooked. I'm in the STX class. The cooper fits nicely into the ST class. Rule changes for 2012 for ST seem like they're going to make the cooper the hot wheel for that class.
