The scoop: Meeting Place-Tim Hortons 1085 Hill Rd N Pickerington, Ohio 43147 Time: Sept 6. 9:30 AM EDT
Didn't get to Finish Drive is about 135 miles ending at a Craft Brewery Bring a picnic lunch or purchase something to eat for lunch while out driving. We will tour the Brewery and do some tasting in their tasting room. Craft beer will be available for purchase Good roads, no gravel. See you Saturday morning!
Sounds great. Looks like crankshaft's car is broken so he may miss it. But standard dude looks like he may be going.
Crankshaft will be there. It will be turning many RPM inside the lump under my MINI's bonnet. :biggrin5:
Mark I might have a old mini for you. John with a green mini was asking questions about the tour. I am kind of out of touch. I am at wmatkins glen right now
Jill and I are practicing the emergency roof up protocol for the Miata tonight. If we don't it would assure rain. Ohh the joys of a convertible with a manual top that is very tight. Chuck I hope you bring your camera's clean car filter as mine has been driven a bunch in the past couple weeks and it seems silly to wash it before driving it.
Good news! The tires on my Miata were rated great on dry roads and tested terribly when any moisture is within 1,000,000 miles
Clean cars run better, besides it's fun getting them dirty. My S drives work very well in the rain. Isn't that what's on your car has Allen?
Chuck you mixed your automotive catch words zoom is Mazda specific. You can't use it linked to a Datsan.
Sure I can. Datsun 510's & 240Z's were zoomin long before the Miata was even a glimmer in Bob Hall's eye. :yesnod:
Have fun and stay safe guys, I won't be making it. Of course a few problems popped up with the mini this week and parts are not here yet. I'll think about the curves while mowing!
Looks like we will be dodging raindrops some of the day with it clearing up before we get to the brewery. Looking forward to seeing everyone in a little bit.
As you can see it is 9:30 and I am not there. As much as I wanted to do this I'm just not feeling right in the head. Don't want to be a danger on the roads.
