I stopped using wheel wax because they all melt away because of wheel heat. Wax is soft and made to protect paint from UV and it captures dirt it is the wrong product to use on any rims.

I switched to a sealant with a layer of Rain-X and have had nothing but excellent results.

I'm currently trying out Sonax Polymer Net Shield on my wheels...

    So far, I'm very impressed.

Also using the Net Shield on the hood to test it's effects on keeping water spots at bay over the hot turbo (also ordered a heat shield to help with that, too).

I use the Griots DA, as well - it's fantastic, especially for the money.

I just like rusty looking matte finish paint... If it gets dirty, it kinda just blends right in! :)

Just used that this past weekend and didn't understand why it took me so long to get it. Big fan of Dodo Juice products. Not an earth shattering product but Stoners invisible glass cleaner is a must.

Griot’s stuff is highly over priced but they do make an excellent DA that has now replaced my 2 old 7424 Portal Cable which I have used for years with great success.

    $139.00
Griots Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher

Even though Griot’s Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher is a powerful tool that’s capable of removing swirls, water spots, light scratches and oxidation, it is still very paint-friendly, even when used in the hands of a novice. The random orbit motion of the pad prevents heat from building up in one spot. Less heat is produced by the polisher and due to the random orbit motion, less heat is transferred to your paint.

    Features:
    •Powerful 7-Amp, 850-Watt Motor
    •2,500 - 6,800 Orbits Per Minute
    •Variable Speed, Wider RPM Range
•Wider 5/16" orbit pattern for faster and better results
    •Ergonomic Adjustable Handle
    •More Torque, Better Performance
    •Long 10 Foot Power Cord
    •6 Inch Backing plate included

I picked up some Bouncer's wheel wax as well. I used to use Prima wheel armor but decided to give something else a whirl.

Always open to suggestions, I actually hate applying Black WOW, but it's the only stuff that seems to work with any real effect.

I just tried the secret sauce (Penetrol) for the first time. OMG, I would have never believed it if I hadn't just done it myself. The trim on the GP skirts was in terrible shape. Now it looks virtually new, with almost no effort.

Works far better than any product I've tried before. If it lasts like everyone says... I'm hooked.
