I bought this one at Harbor Freight on sale.

6 in. 5.7 Amp Heavy Duty Dual Action Variable Speed Polisher

It works great. I have a lot of Griot's products though. I live about thirty miles from Griot's brick and mortar store in Tacoma, so I save on shipping and I get a 10% MINI club discount there.

I use their spray on car wash a lot.

    Supernatural Hybrid Wax is awesome.
Use it on our rims also and say goodbye to sticking brake dust. :ihih::Thumbsup:

The TQ of the Griots DA is good and strong which is needed to keep the pad spinning when when polishing at lower speeds. This is what's required to get modern nano tech compounds to work correctly. Remember we are not using our grandfathers turtle wax with sand in it anymore.

The Portal Cable does not have that and I have used my PC's for years because they were the best until the new Griots DA. Now with my Mikita high speed rotary with a wool pad and my new DA I can take on every paint defect.

Now my Porter Cable is sitting on the shelf until someone wants to buy it.

Don't get me wrong it's a great DA for a person starting out but I have advanced past its limits.
