What do you mean Road trip? I drive that far to go to my doctor and consider it local travel.

I actually haven't been to that one. With 4-5 stalls it must be a happening place!

 

There's also supposed to be a pretty good place where Carve lives, called Oink-A-Doodle-Moo. I've never tried it, but it also has some great ice cream next door. Both are just off west US 40, in Englewood.

 

Loco travel, what kind of doctor are you seeing????

 

Hey, this is sounding good, put together a good road trip with tasty BBQ for lunch and only 1-1/2 hours away? This must be done....

 

So is this our Saturday drive??

That is actually a 5 minute walk from our house What I can say about Oinkadoodlemoo is:
1.) really good BBQ
2.) a name that makes you feel kinda stupid every time you say it
3.) Side dishes are just OK :/

And JD's Frozen Custard (the ice cream place next door) two major thumbs up! (Robb and I both used to work there when we were in college)
There is a nice park across the street to eat our BBQ and ice cream at as well.
Road trip to our neck of the woods in western Ohio?????? We'll lead the way!!

 

When you live on a farm, nothing is as close as wen you live in the city in the city, because you first have to drive to the city. We really do consider and hour drive to be local travel.

As for the doctor, that is how far it is to the nearest VA center.

Was planning on coming, however I fear I may be getting sick. Will have to see how the evening goes and how I feel in the morning. The MINI needs some company.

I have found that a Gin & Tonic will cure almost everything, including bee stings. I'm serious. :biggrin5:

Maybe not, but it makes you not think about it.

My wife encountered a bunch of ground bees, horse dumped her on the nest and her face was very swollen from the stings. Two G&T's and the swelling was completely gone, along with the pain.

I missed the donuts in the office today because I was trying to track down the very print rep that dropped them off. Talk about bad karma.
