    Last years total has been beat. As of 2/25/12 we are 7 MINIs ahead of last years total which was the largest of all the MOTD. 2012 is now bigger with 550 MINIs and still counting.

    They'll be offset by some folks who cancel last-minute, but to imagine 700 Minis in the Dragon Parade, I did some math earlier for the "1000" thread:

    If we travel at a constant 35MPH, leaving the recommended 2 second gap between Minis, the first Mini will be at the Overlook - ON THE WAY BACK - before the last Mini leaves Deals Gap.

    If we were to then park on a football field, leaving no room between Minis to even exit our vehicles, we'd completely cover the playing surface with enough Minis left over to go nose-to-tail around the outside perimeter of the running track, with a few MORE left over to party with the cheerleaders in the endzones!

    It's a nose-to-tail line over 1.6 miles long.
