    A Super Beetle was my first car bought with my own money. Amazing how fast you can eventually get going in one.

    I was into the air coolers in my 20s. Julie and I would go to Larry's show in Dayton and Bugfest in Cincy every year. I had 4 extra motors and boxes of other parts. Mine was rail buggy for the street. But with 2 kids I needed a back seat. So after looking all over for a Thing or Beatle convertible I got a Rabit convertible.
