Fair enough. I've just never run with this group and they are fairly new and I'm not getting e-mail responses and the guy I left a phone message with (Christopher Willard) hasn't called me back. I'm a bit paranoid that I'm gonna get to Willow on Saturday and find out someone stole my $105.

Let's hope that's not the case.

Got an email from Chris. Feeling much less paranoid. :)

Any one know if HTM has some building to hide in between sessions? I am starting to lean to just calling this one a loss. 70% chance of rain and 50F weather will make for one miserable day if there is nowhere to hide.

I'm a no-go for this. My lug stud conversions turned out to be crap. I've got no way to run tomorrow.

Gonna make a last minute call at 5 a.m. That's all I know right now.

I missed you guys on Saturday. Track was wet for the first two runs, but dried up by lunch and the last three were dry and fast. Fun day, but it was cold and no where to hang out except inside your car to stay dry for the morning rain.

Sadly, I outguessed myself both days. Woke up at 5 a.m., saw rain and went back to bed only to see a decent enough day by 10 a.m.

I wasn't concerned so much with the wet track, but lack of facilities did present something to take in consideration. But lesson learned. Next time I will rather drive out and turn around then not go at all. :cryin:

I made that mistake when I was supposed to go to Magic Mountain a few weeks ago with my company. Everyone said it was a great day, but when I heard it pouring around 4AM, I did vacillate about getting up, glad I did.:cornut:

ORLY? Any idea what the dates are? What did you think of the event and the guys who ran it?

Cool. Chris was nice enough to let me use the track fee from HTM for another event. Looks like SOW! :) Hopefully I'll have the lug/stud issue sorted out by then...
